Rather good but.....Apr 13, 2010 It is exactly what I wanted from a zen garden but... Problems i have with it. the Thing isn't exactly deep enough for all the sand they give you so when you move it around it will spill out a bit unless you don't use it all at the beginning. Also mine had the bottom bent out, so I had to seal the entire thing with wood glue so it wont leak the sand all over the place.... Other than that it is at least a good zen garden if you want a real one though just go into your back yard dig a bout 6 inches down at a few boulders and a bunch of 1" to 1/2 " gravel and you have a real one.
broken :(Feb 19, 2010 The base and frame were not completely attached. Fixed with a little glue. My friend loved it after that.
Nice but Watch Out!Jan 07, 2010 Once I shook it a little to make it the sand flat, sand started pouring out the bottom sides because the bottom wood had pulled away from the tacks or nails. I poured the sand back into the packaging box for safekeeping and took the box home for repairs (I bought it for my office). I still like this item; the size is perfect, the sand is nice and plentiful and the rocks are nice river rocks, not too shiny or too dull. I didn't expect much because of the price so I'm actually happy with it... I dropped a star because of the repairs I had to make. I just wish I had read all the reviews before pouring the sand in and making a mess!

Horrible qualityDec 28, 2009 The reviews of this product describing a horrible quality product are unusually accurate, I learned the hard way. The bottom of the wooden box was almost completely loose right out of the box, and you can't just snap the staples back into the holes in the wood because it won't stay. If you leave it that way, the sand will seep out of the bottom as quickly as you pour it in. I had to run to Wal-Mart on Christmas eve and buy very tiny nails and tack the wooden bottom back on with a hammer. The bottom line is that if you can choose a different zen garden, you should.
Zen GardenDec 07, 2009 I actually bought the zen garden for my counseling office. I have had good result using this with children and adults.
