Good pizza setAug 30, 2010 My 2-year-old son likes this a lot. He can't really put the pieces on the pizza but he likes slicing the pizza pie. One of the toppings did break, but the rest are fine.
Loves it!Aug 02, 2010 My two year old grandson loves making different kinds of pizza and serving it to anyone around. He especially loves cutting the pizza, which helps to develop his fine motor skills. How ingenious to velcroe the pieces together! This set is very durable and will get many hours of play, I am sure.
Love the attention to detail!Jun 24, 2010 I recently got this for my 2.5 year old son. He loves playing with it and pretends to eat the slices. I like how all the pieces have velcro. Nothing frustrates my son more than when things fall apart on him and I can imagine the upsetting tantrum he would have if the toppings fell of the slices as he walks with a plate of pizza from one place to another. I also love the wooden box it comes with. It makes it easy to store, especially with the side compartments for the extra pieces.
Made of solid wood, very durable. I did not have any issues with chemical smells as some have mentioned, but I did not buy it online so the chemical scent could have gone away from sitting on the shelf. He has tried to "eat" the pizza and it has gone in his mouth but no chipped paint. The pizza cutter and spatula are great bonuses.
Girls love it!May 17, 2010 Santa brought this for my two and three year old girls for Christmas(care of Amaazon). After months of playing,it is still in new condition. The girls have tons of fun and sometimes take the topping for use in "hot soup". Very happy and think it was a fantastic purchase.
More than a puzzle or just play food.Mar 30, 2010 Two year old grandson loves serving up the pebaboni pizza. "You want one or two pebabbonis?"
Sorting can be done by color, shape, type. Fine motor skills get better with assembling the "pizza". Learning to handle a food tool helps w/ feeding coordination skills too.
