CHOKING HAZARD -- Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.
Description:
Stockmar wax crayons meet the highest artistic standards. Through the addition of pure beeswax as a binding agent, the light-resistant pigments display their purity and full brilliance. Because they are mixed with wax, the colors are able to be used in a wide range of interesting coloring techniques - more than any other coloring material. The natural transparency of the wax and the lack of additives result in a high degree of opacity like that of watercolors. Stockmar quality is controlled reliability.
Our luxurious set includes the following colors: 01 carmine red, 03 orange, 05 lemon yellow, 07 green, 09 blue, 11 blue violet, 13 red brown, 15 black. Made in Germany.

Great CrayonsJan 12, 2009 My [...] loves these crayons. The color on paper is very rich, and she has made them last quite a while, even though they are a little softer than your standard run of the mill Crayola's.
These are great crayons for your little budding artist.

These feel and Look Very NiceJan 04, 2008 My 5 year old has never enjoyed regular crayons but these looked so cute in the tin that I had to get them. I bought this set for my daughter for a stocking stuffer for Christmas.
These crayons are made from beeswax and are nice quality--they just feel nice in the hand. I believe they are made in Germany. I think they might be a bit more color saturated that the "C" crayons with yellow being the exception. I enjoyed trying them out too and my daughter has made some nice art with them.
It's always nice to have good quality art supplies if one can afford them. Unfortuneatly, beeswax is expensive but these would be nice as a special gift.
