Love this toyOct 31, 2009 As a grandmother and a retired early childhood teacher I am always looking for good educational toys for my grandchildren, 2 1/2 and 5. They both had this toy and loved it. This stack up is helping to teach my granddaughter, 2 1/2, her colors. It's a great toy to sit on the floor and play with your kids - age 1 1/2+. Sometimes we buy toys too old for the kids, you can put them away and get them out 6 months later. Haba makes good quality toys that are great baby gifts.

Choking Hazard!May 07, 2009 My 1 year old daughter received the Haba Rainbow Tower as a gift for her 1st birthday. We have many Haba toys and they are made to the highest quality. We have never had any problems with any of them. However, my daughter nearly choked to death today on the top red piece on the Rainbow Tower. She managed to get the entire piece in her mouth and couldn't get it out. It was wedged in her mouth so tight that I couldn't get my fingers around it to pull it out. Thankfully I got it out in time. I would not recommend this toy for children under the age of 3. We were very lucky today!

paint rubbed offApr 11, 2009 I was shocked when we recieved this toy. Everyone gives it great reviews; however, as the pieces rub together the paint was rubbed down- NOT flaking- but it gave the toy the appearance of being used. For $20, I expect a brand new looking toy. I haven't decided after returning this if we will reorder.

choking hazardMar 17, 2009 This toy is only about 4 inches tall total, and the stacking pieces do not stay together if you even blow on them! The top red piece is only about 1 inch in diameter with makes it a choking hazard for small children. I fail to see how this can pass safety checks in the USA.

great qualityDec 30, 2008 Worth the price. Safe, solid, sturdy. It's on the smaller side--about 7 inches high when they're all stacked--so it's the perfect size for my 9-month-old, although I took away the top red piece for the time being, it's a little too small. The pieces fit together without a center pole and they can be stacked in any order.
