Not What We ExpectedJan 25, 2010 Friends recently introduced us to these tiles and their children seemed to love them. The ones they had were the 'clear" kind and the ones shipped were solid in color. Honestly, the magnetics used in them are quite poor and we have been quite disappointed with the product in general.
great open-ended toy!Aug 11, 2009 Magnatiles are a favorite activity at my boy's preschool, so I decided to purchase this small set for my three year old. The set is small, but for the cost- it is a good intro set to see if it gets enough play in your home. It is great at encouraging open ended play. The only down-side of the small set is that it is not quite big enough for two children to share at the same time. I will be getting my family the 100 piece set this Christmas to encourage more play together. The tiles engage my three year old, four year old, and seven year old. I can't say enough about how great these are!
If you could only purchase one toy from ages 3 until 10, this would be IT!!May 09, 2009 My kids, ranging in age from preschool to tween all play with these. I take some in a bag with me to all of my older kids sporting events, the preschooler attracts a lot of attention with these. They are literally a kid magnet! I think they are fun to play with too. Since they are always creating something new, the kids never seem to get bored with them. They stack up neatly, so you can leave them on or near a table. I think they are great for spatial reasoning and creativity. My preschooler is always inventing new kids of "machines" with them. Excellent toy and well worth the money. Well made.

magna tilesApr 11, 2008 These magnetic tiles are great for kids. It gives them something new and different to play with. And they can be used in many ways to build different objects with their many shapes. The kids will be using them for a long time. Our grand kids love them.
