Perfect for many agesJun 27, 2010 These tools are well made and easy to use for toddlers 18 months on up. My granddaughter plays with them constantly, and the little wooden tray to keep the tools in is great - would be nice if it had a lid, tho.

Not up to par.Apr 19, 2010 The rollers are too small and don't move smoothly. One washing of the stamps and they fell apart, wooden pieces, unusable after that. I don't recommend this Melissa and Doug toy although I do love many others they make.
Great tools, buy more play dohApr 18, 2010 The tools are pretty good but these are really small tubs of play dough. I thought it was malleable although not as soft as Play Doh brand play dough. It is also stickier than Play Doh which makes using the rolling pins hard.
Great toy but the play dough dries out right away.Nov 26, 2009 My daughter received this set as a gift for her 2nd Birthday. Her Dad, brother and I all had a great time playing with it, showing her what to do. I would say we would play for an hour at a time every day for about week and the clay was useless at that point. We were sure to ball the clay together and secure the tops but it did not help.
Luckily, she received 2 cans of play dough brand clay with the set and we have been utilizing that with all of the tools and our imaginations, having a great time!!
So great toy, except the quality of the clay is not so durable.
